Paste a .tex file and see it as a live résumé: sections, colours, margins and fonts all read from the source. Edit visually or in the built-in editor with lint, then export back to LaTeX in five flavours, ready for Overleaf or a local pdflatex run. No TeX distribution required.

What it does

• Style travels with the textColours from definecolor and colorlet, base font size, paper size, margins, section spacing and the main font all come through as real styling rather than being dropped.
• Your own sections surviveHeadings the parser does not recognise become custom sections with their own heading colours, and they round-trip back to LaTeX unchanged.
• An editor that catches mistakesUnbalanced braces, unknown environments and stray commands are flagged as you type, which is most of what a first compile would have told you.
• Export in five flavoursAny résumé built in the app exports to LaTeX as Vulture, Jake, moderncv, Awesome-CV or AltaCV, with colours, margins and section order intact.

How to use it

1. 01Open the LaTeX résumé builder and paste your .tex source, or upload the file.
2. 02Check the live preview: sections, colours and spacing should match your compiled PDF.
3. 03Edit in the visual editor, or keep working in LaTeX with lint on.
4. 04Score the result against a job description like any other résumé.
5. 05Export back to LaTeX, or straight to PDF and DOCX if you no longer need the source.

Questions

Do I need LaTeX installed?

No. Parsing, preview and export all happen in the app. You only need a TeX install if you want to compile the exported source yourself.

Will my Overleaf template work?

If it is built on moderncv, Awesome-CV, AltaCV, Jake's Resume or the article class, almost certainly. Unrecognised headings are kept as custom sections rather than lost.

Is the LaTeX output clean?

It is written to be readable and compilable: real class options, no wrapper macros, and the same structure you would have written by hand.

Can I go from Word to LaTeX?

Yes. Import the DOCX, then export as LaTeX in whichever flavour you want.
